42 YEARS AFTER THEFT CAR RECOVERED

Forty two years after it was stolen from his home, a US man tracked down his beloved 1967 sports car,AustinHealey, after spotting it on eBay.Robert Russel,who now lives in Texas,had his 1967 Austin Healey stolenwhen he lived in Philadelphia in 1970. He never gave up looking for the car and continued his search,scouring the internet.In May,with his original certificate of title,he was able to match the vehicle identification number on a car being sold on eBay. Los Angeles County Sheriff's detectives recovered the car and returned to Russel.He said that the car was intact and in fair condition,requiring a bit of exterior and interior work. Russel said he continued to search for the vehicle not for its monetary value,but for its sentimental value to him and his wife. Russel told deputies that he bought the car for $3000.It's now valued at $23000.

WORLD'S UGLIEST DOG TITLE

Chinese crested's short snout,beady eyes and white whiskers earned it the title of world's ugliest dog at the annual contest in Northern California o Friday.Competing for fame,$1000 and a year's worth of dog cookies, 8 year old Mugly won the honour by beating out 28 other ugly dogs.

WAKE UP FROM COMA

A seven year old girl,who had been fighting for life with a brain haemorrhage,has awaken from a week- long coma,after her mother sang an Adele song to her.Charlotte Neve,from Trawden, Lancashire, had suffered the haemorrhage in her sleep that almost killed her. Following two operations she was left in a coma, with doctors telling her mother Leila,to bid her daughter goodbye.But when Leila went into the room,Adele's " Rolling in the deep" came on the radio. Leila began singing it to her and Charlotte began to smile. Within two days,she had started speaking,could focus on colours and manage to get up from her bed.

AGE IS NO BAR

A 97 year old retired Australian dentist was to receive his Masters Degree in Clinical Science  in what Southern Cross University said could make him the world's oldest new graduate.Allan Stewart,born on March,7,1915,is already a holder of the Guinness World Records Title for being the .oldest graduate after completing a law degree in 2006 at the age of 91. It was not immediately clear whether anyone older had graduated since.

PYRAMID VALLEY INTERNATIONAL

GANESH CHATURTHI

Vinayaka chaturthi or Ganesh festival is celebrated on the fourth day after the full moon in the month of Sravana(August-September).As far as Hindus are concerned, a nation is built on the foundations of spirituality. Ganesh Chaturthi makes clear the nature of the propitious relationship between spirituality and nationhood. Ganapati is the leader of the Ganas,which means community. A nation is a community of people.Therefore,worshipping nationhood is Ganesh Worship. A huge efficacy of Ganesh is made and it is worshipped through rituals and cultural performances. GOLDEN EGG

A rare edition of 19th century master piece The Birds of America fetched US Dollar 7.9 million at a Christie's auction in New York. In 2010,another copy of first edition-which went under the hammer at Sotheby's in London-sold for US Dollar 11.5 million. The book,by American Ornithologist John James Audubon,depicts more than 400 species of birds and is considered a master piece of Ornithology art.
